Eureka! 2019 workshop

Eureka! is a 48-hour multidisciplinary design workshop where students use their skills for social good. I branded the 2019 event and helped organize it and its participants alongside Professor Lorrie Frear.

Check out the Eureka website!

Eureka! 2019 participants worked with the Veteran Outreach Center in Rochester, NY to develop plans and solutions to share the VOC's resources and services with younger veterans. This is a demographic that is frequently unaware that they qualify for services, or is unwilling to look like they need help.

The goal of the branding was to attract student participants from all corners of RIT, while reflecting the workshop's spirit of discovery and the VOC's purpose of serving all its veterans.

Eureka! needed a new website this year, so it was up to me to build the site and get everything working. Because we had a quick turnaround on this, the website needed to be simple and to the point, and remain easy for a new designer to pick up next year. Through doing this I learned more about using Wordpress hosting.
